Job Type: Trenchless Sewer Repair |
Job Location: Preuss Rd., 90035
Customer Symptoms:We received a call from a client who believed that her trenchless sewer was leaking. Her garden had been soaked with water, and she had smelled foul odors when she was watering her property.
Issue:Our technician surveyed the situation and determined that the sewer line had collapsed and needed to be replaced. He discussed various methods with the client and decided that bursting the pipe would be the most efficient and least damaging method of sewer repair.
Resolution:Rather than dig up the client’s entire yard to remove the sewer pipe, our technician was able to dig two small areas at both ends of the piping system. The technician then blew up the old line as he simultaneously pulled the new pipe through it, getting rid of the broken line and replacing it with a stronger pipe. The customer was thrilled that the technician did not have to dig a large trench in her property as she was hosting a dinner party later that evening.
