Job Type: Drain Repair |
Job Location: South Rose Ave., 93033
Customer Symptoms:
We received a call from a concerned customer who was experiencing leaking water from her bathtub faucet. She was hesitant to attempt to do any repair work herself.
Issue:
After surveying the leak and noticing that water was continually dripping out of the faucet into the bathtub, the technician wanted to eliminate any serious causes by investigating the simpler ones first.
Resolution:
Before beginning, our technician turned off the main water supply to the home. He then noticed that the washer under the faucet had become corroded and clogged from years of use. He was able to remove the faucet from the unit to better access the washer. The technician was able to remove the washer and, upon further examination, determined that it would be in the customer’s best interest to simply replace the piece with a new one. He attached a clean washer to the faucet, placed the faucet back onto the bathtub and turned the water supply on to ensure that leaking had stopped.
