Our technician arrived, ensured that the electrical connections were properly functioning and that the float was moving appropriately with the water in the unit. The technician did not notice any debris in the pump that would cause it to clog, so he informed the client that his sump pump was working well.

Resolution:

He gave the customer a list of things to watch out for such as leaking or foul-smelling water that could be indicative of a potential problem.
