Ritz Plumbing is seeking an experienced, licensed Electrician to join our growing home service team. This position is ideal for a skilled professional who can diagnose electrical problems, complete installations and repairs, and provide customers with safe, code-compliant electrical solutions.
Candidates must possess the licensing and qualifications required to perform the electrical work assigned to them in California. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, understands electrical safety and code requirements, and can communicate professionally with homeowners and other members of our service team.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose residential and commercial electrical problems.
- Perform electrical repairs, replacements, and installations.
- Troubleshoot circuits, wiring, outlets, switches, breakers, and electrical components.
- Install and replace electrical fixtures and equipment.
- Inspect electrical systems for safety and performance issues.
- Read electrical diagrams, plans, and technical documentation.
- Complete work according to applicable electrical codes and safety standards.
- Clearly explain findings and recommended repairs to customers.
- Maintain accurate service and job documentation.
- Coordinate with plumbers, HVAC technicians, and other trades when necessary.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment.
- Follow company and job-site safety procedures.
Skills & Requirements
- Valid licensing/credentials required for assigned electrical work.
- Professional electrical experience required.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with applicable California electrical codes and safety requirements.
- Ability to diagnose electrical problems accurately.
- Experience using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read schematics and electrical diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary service team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation as required for the position.
