Ritz Plumbing is looking for an experienced Roofer to join our growing service team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with roof repairs, installation, maintenance, and leak-related problems and understands how to complete roofing work safely and professionally.
This position involves working at residential and commercial properties throughout Los Angeles County. Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors, at heights, and in varying job-site conditions while maintaining high standards for safety and workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Inspect roofs and identify leaks, deterioration, and damaged materials.
- Perform roof repairs and maintenance.
- Remove and replace damaged roofing materials.
- Assist with or perform roof installation and replacement projects.
- Repair flashing and other roof penetrations.
- Properly seal roofing components to prevent water intrusion.
- Work with common roofing systems and materials.
- Safely use ladders, hand tools, power tools, and roofing equipment.
- Follow manufacturer specifications and applicable building requirements.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Communicate job findings and progress with customers and team members.
- Follow company and job-site safety procedures.
Skills
- Previous professional roofing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of common roofing materials and installation methods.
- Experience identifying and repairing roof leaks.
- Ability to safely work on ladders and roofs.
- Comfortable working outdoors and at heights.
- Familiarity with roofing tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
